Dr. Arup Barman (b. 1972) did his Ph.D. (Management) at Assam University, Silchar India, presently working as an Associate professor, Department of Business Administration, Assam University, Silchar (India). He is an economist and a management researcher. He is a recipient of post-doctoral research award for 2009-2011 from SAB, UGC (govt of India). He received the Scholarship for policy development -2011 from DFID and CIPPEC, Argentina. Dr, Barman is a recipient of ASDF Global Award- 2013 (December) as ASWF-The Best Professor Award 2013. He is also a recipient of Management Teacher Consortium –Global (MTC-Global) Award-2011. Dr. Barman is a Fellow of World Business Institute, Australia (2012); Fellow Chartered Educator (FCE), Feb, 2012 (Honoris-Causa) issued under the Academic Treaty signed with Consortium of Universities Euro-American (CUE), 2012; Accredited Management Teacher (AMT) in the year 2009, as hallmark of Common Body of Knowledge (CBOK) under AICTE and AIMA, New Delhi.
