Mehmet SAHIN, PhD

Mehmet ŞAHİN, Prof. Dr., received his Master Degree at Gazi University in Ankara (1993), and his PhD degree in 2002 at Selcuk University in Konya. He completed his second doctoral study at the same university in 2010 in Educational Sciences. He worked at Selcuk University in Konya, Yıldız Technical University in Istanbul and Necmettin Erbakan University in Konya. From November 2020, he has been teaching at Mersin University, Faculty of Education. He is working at the Department of Educational Sciences. His studies and publications are mainly in Educational Philosophy, Learning Theories, Modern and Postmodern Curriculum Development, Adult Education, Critical Thinking and Project Development. He worked as coordinator and researcher in EU projects “Excellence in Textile through “Fashion Express”, “Virtual Training Centre for CNC” and “Virtual Training Centre for Shoe Design”. He also worked as a researcher in a national project: “The Internationalization of Higher Education in Turkey: Creating an Index”
