Professor Doctor Jackson is a Fellow in the National Board of Certified Psychologists, a Diplomate in the American Psychotherapy Association, a National Board Certified Counsellor, a Licensed Professional Counsellor in Pennsylvania and a Fulbright Senior Scholar (Addictions Specialist). He has served as: Senior Honorary Research Fellow, Department of Primary Health Care and General Practice, School of Medicine and Health Sciences, University of Otago, Wellington, New Zealand; Visiting Professor with the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board; a Dwight D. Eisenhower Delegate to Viet Nam and Cambodia; Malawi Counselling Institute NBCC Delegate; a lecturer at Oxford University, Rhodes House, UK; and, as a trainer for the Federal Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, Washington, D.C. He is internationally known for his suicide expertise and has given four world broadcast seminars on suicide for the Australian Counselling Association in the past two years.
